A powerful earthquake struck off Japan's northeastern coast late Thursday,Sony HVR-A1U, but no tsunami warnings were issued.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a 6.2 magnitude quake struck near the coast of Honshu,Nokia N8 silver white, about 155 kilometers east of Tokyo,Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 0199-23U, at a depth of 10 kilometers.  
Japan's Meteorological Agency said there was no risk of a tsunami. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

A spokesman for Tokyo Electric Power Company,Asus N73SV-A1, Fukushima's operator,Canon Rebel T2i, said the plant was not damaged by Thursday's quake.
