Default Office Pro 2007 Microsoft's 'Flash-killer' now sup

The most recent Local community Technology Preview (CTP) check builds of Microsoft's Windows Presentation Foundation/Everywhere (WPF/E) product went live this week. As of this build,Windows 7 Key, Microsoft is supporting, for the first time, the Firefox on the Mac. WPF/E is,Purchase Windows 7, in Microsoft's words, "a browser enhancement module that enables browsers to render rich content in addition to HTML." Microsoft officials have said that WPF/E will support IE 6.0, 7.0, Firefox 1.5.0.8+ and 2.0+, and Apple's Safari,Office Pro 2007, among other browsers. The February Mac download of WPF/E, available as of February 1, supports both Safari and Firefox. The new WPF/E check builds also include better JavaScript application programming interface (API) support,Office 2007 Enterprise, performance tweaks,Microsoft Office 2007 Key, full-screen mode and other additions, as noted by my ZDNet blogging colleague, Ryan Stewart. No word yet on when Beta 1 of WPF/E will hit. Maybe at Mix '07 in late April?
