Default Office Standard 2007 Key Microsoft's 'Flash-killer

The most recent Local community Technologies Preview (CTP) check builds of Microsoft's Windows Presentation Foundation/Everywhere (WPF/E) product went live this week. As of this build, Microsoft is supporting,Office 2010 Pro, for the first time, the Firefox on the Mac. WPF/E is, in Microsoft's words, "a browser enhancement module that enables browsers to render rich content in addition to HTML." Microsoft officials have said that WPF/E will support IE 6.0,Office Standard 2007 Key, 7.0,Purchase Office 2007, Firefox 1.5.0.8+ and 2.0+, and Apple's Safari, among other browsers. The February Mac download of WPF/E, available as of February 1, supports both Safari and Firefox. The new WPF/E test builds also include better JavaScript application programming interface (API) support, performance tweaks,Office Professional 2010, full-screen mode and other additions,Microsoft Office 2007 Ultimate, as noted by my ZDNet blogging colleague, Ryan Stewart. No word yet on when Beta 1 of WPF/E will hit. Maybe at Mix '07 in late April?
