Sometimes, we do show mercy to the poor, however, since I discovered that nine in ten of the beggars are not from our province, I can't help thinking are we Cantonese that rich, that they all rush south for golds? Is there any gold in Guangdong province?
Guangdong is full of dust, noises,
diesel store, and getting more and more crowded! We know for sure at the end of every lunar year, millions of people working here hurry to go their northern home --- it is very common that some people have made big money by buying quantities of long-distance tickets and selling them again to the out-of-province laborers at a much high price; whereas the others come here to find their new spring opportunities. This is what Guangdong has become!
Right at the end of the lunar year, it was frigid outside.
