Why?
Each printer has its own minimum margin setting, and if you put any text or borders outside that margin setting, your page won't print correctly.
Word, on the other hand, will let you set your margins to 0.
How do you find out your printer's printable area--before you print?
You use WordPad. A colleague showed me how: 1. In Windows, click the Start button. 2. Click All Programs. 3. Click Accessories. 4. Click WordPad. 5. In WordPad,Office 2007 Activation Key, click the WordPad tab.
6. Click Page Setup.
7. In each margin box, type 0.
(After you change the last margin,Office 2007 Professional Plus Key, click in a different box.) 8. WordPad displays the minimum margins that you need to apply to your Word document.
