Safelist Directory Safelists will also work if you use them. The bigger the list the better isn't always true... sometimes the smaller lists can be just as responsive if not more. It all depends on you and your dillegence.

Default Windows 7 Pro Key Change Tracking Views Filters

In my previous post we covered the what and the why of basic change tracking. In sum, change tracking allows you to see and act on who did what to your document.
In this post we'll cover the what and the why of the various change tracking views/filters. In sum, now that you can see who did what, we'll dig a bit deeper into all the different ways you can see who did what to best meet your needs.
Scenario: Many Reviewers
Filter Option: Filter by Reviewer
I chose to cover this one first because it made me smile last Friday. Here's the story: I was in a meeting where we were reviewing a specification for a feature of the next version of Office,Buy Office 2007, and I was asked for my feedback. I had opened the specification but forgot that I was only one of many people who had reviewed/edited this shared copy of the document. For a moment I frantically tapped Next,Office 2010 Keygen, Next, Next…trying to find my first change and then remembered that I could simply filter all the changes by reviewer, and specifically me. I went to the Tracking chunk of the Review tab and clicked on Show Markup and Reviewers and selected only my name. I then clicked Next and went directly to my first change. All subsequent Next clicks took me to my and only my changes as Word had filtered out changes made by all other reviewer.

Happy times. Scenario: Many Changes
View Option: Reviewing Pane
I also used this next option in the same "spec review" so that I could see a list of all my changes and easily navigate between changes I made to various places in the document.
I went to the Tracking chunk of the Review tab and clicked Reviewing Pane to show a handy list of all changes shown in the document. I say 'shown' deliberately here as I was only showing my changes in the document body per my previous filter…and the Review Pane simply provides a list of the changes shown in the document. The pane allowed me to look much more organized than I am as then stated how many changes I made to the document (thanks to the "Summary" at the top of the pane) and easily ran through them all.

Handy. Scenario: Too Much to Handle
View Option: Show Revisions in Balloons
Breaking away from last Friday's spec review, the next view option is useful to increase the readability of a document containing tracked changes. In short, if you go to Tracking chunk of the Review tab and click Balloons and Show Revisions in Balloons,Windows 7 Pro Key, you're document will be easier to read because only additive changes will be marked-up inline.
Let me show you what I mean. Read the document in the previous screen shot. Now read the document in the screen shot below.

Chances are you found the second screen shot to be easier to read because changes that removed content from the document actually removed content from document body,Microsoft Office 2010 Home And Stude/nt, and put it into balloons in the margin. Put differently, when you 'Show Revisions in Balloons,' content removed from the document body is removed from the document body. This reduces the mark-up in the document body itself while not compromising your ability to know who changed what.
Nice. Scenario: What If?
View Options: Display for Review
And the last option I'll cover in this post is certainly not the least. Good 'ole Display for Review:

As the tool tip explains,Microsoft Office 2010 Professional, Display for Review is global filter that specifies how you want Word to display tracked changes. The four possible displays are: Final Showing MarkupShows all tracked changes and—if you are showing revisions in balloons—the layout of the document if you were to Accept All of the changes
FinalShows what the document would look like if you Accepted All of the changes
<aside> Remember that this is only a view setting and does not add or remove tracked changes <\aside>
Original Showing MarkupShows all tracked changes and—if you are showing revisions in balloons—the layout of the document if you were to Reject All of the changes
OriginalShows what the document would look like if you Rejected All of the changes
<aside> Remember that this is only a view setting and does not add or remove tracked changes <\aside>

Hopefully now you can track who did what and see it in a way that best meets your needs.
Have a great holiday. I'm headed off to Oregon to spend Thanksgiving with my girlfriend's family. A perfect occasion to 'accept all.'
