One from the finest attributes in WordPress 2.0 is WYSIWYG publish editing. It requires the pain from formatting, linking and including photos.
WordPress 2.0 arrives having a bunch of editing buttons,
Office Standard 2007 Key, although not ample for what I will need it to complete. So I dug to the source code and identified around are hooks for incorporating a lot more controls. Soon after enjoying with it for the handful of minutes, I was capable to add buttons for:
Selecting formats: paragraph, formatted, headers, and many others.
Underline, subscript, super script, full justification.
Copy, cut, paste.
Insert table.
Foreground colour, background coloration.
Character map.
Complete screen modifying.
I developed an easy plugin that automagically adds all these buttons. Obtain advanced-wysiwyg.php into your wp-content/plugins directory and activate. Appreciate!
PS: The table controls and total screen modifying depend on added TinyMCE plugins. So if you want these two features also, you’ll have to obtain TinyMCE plugins and install those separately. For WordPress two.0.4 users,
Office 2007 Enterprise, try the TinyMCE 2.0 RC4 plugins. Or check the comments to find out what works for other people.
Update: I added two much more filter functions. Should you find that the toolbar is too wide, you can move the buttons to a second and even third toolbar (or add a lot more buttons as you please).
Update: Thanks to Andy,
Office Home And Business, we now have French support.
