PDR vs Auto Mechanic
LETS GET-IT ON!
Profitable PDR! Kaching!
What, you're feelin magnificent, but, huh?....no money?
Oh..your a mechanic.............I see.
That explains it.
Something big is going on in the automotive globe, and automechanic schools such for UTI, MMI etc etc are not letting anyone in on the beef. Why..isnt it manifest? Why would a commerce school want to tell its prospective students that they are costing thousand of greenbacks on an training that might presently be netting them only $10-$15/hr. Ugly huh. Yup, it is. And whats even uglier, is that Im not lying..this is fact, so assist me Jose'.
So,
BELSTAFF UK, lets liken the 2 trades, arrange of a recon showdown if you will.
Auto Mecanic. Comes in by a decent weight, in nice fashion, trains well and has some nice weapons to use. Example- many cars aboard the road, many need fixins, so kinetics are in claim. Score one point for technician.
Cons. Most cars nowadays need expensive and sophisticated equipment apt analyze problems. The information can price over $30k per traffic brand/make, restricting any private shop to only be able apt MAYBE service an make, no many. That translates to MUCH lower wages. How another is Mr Shop owner supposed to be able to furnish the equipment and info. Take 1 point away from mechanic-below the belt beat, im scared.
Paintless Dent Repair Tech. Comes in with quite good conditioning, serious education, and mighty go ethic. Example-Paintless Dent Removal is an craft, and not anyone can fair purchase equipment and shove out a dent..they need training and practice. Pro.
Cons. Can you appoint one? When cars obtain more sophisticated,
coach mens, do they get more complicated to clear dents? Not at always. The sophistication is with components and intelligence, not canvas metal. Score namely one uppercut for Paintless Dent Removal.
Round 15.
Paintless Dent Repair ambition not be automated, averaging a machine will not take out dents, thereby holding wages solid and strong. Auto Mechanics are at the mercy of technology, and machines are replacing folk at an fearing pace, thereby ruining any contingency of a good proceeds. Kaching!
Result: TKO- Paintless Dent Repair champion in the 15th circular, knocking out Auto Mechanic.
Sorry mechanics..I respect you all..its a very admirable process and capability, but your days are numbered...we are yet getting mechanics coming in now for training in Paintless Dent Repair.
Is now the time for you?
Common Mistakes with PDR Techs
Painters make mistakes. Heck, we all make mistakes, right?
But some mistakes cost money. And period. And time is money, right? So make that money times 2..
So whether you are a Paint Repair Tech, you ambition to AVOID blunders right?
So tell me- why do so many paint repair techs persist to make mistakes... I cant answer that answer..but I can highlite general mistakes, and possibly how to stay well away from them. Because afterward, if you cant be on your game,
ghd au, you will be preoccupied at the market. And absorption aches. It hurts bad.
So, onto the show!
1) Detailing where or approximate drawing. This is a big painter no-no.
2) Prepping and achievement with 80 grit. If you don't finish out your prep, no primer is going to conceal the dirt scratches. Finish your work
3) Spot putty neglect. Yeah, those wind bubbles in your filler don't see to
good, do they?..unless you like body fix that resembles your 16th birthday photos behind a wrong acne breakout...
4) Painting without checking your color. For petes sake, take a swab of your mixed color and swipe it on the car out in the brightness if likely...does it mate or not>? Hint: DON'T LIE.
5) Painting and prepping without a disguise. Sure..you have plenty of head cells...right? Just go query Richard Pryor or Muhammed Ali..they'll acquaint you the same entity.
And there are more.,..,yet on the answers are right there...you can watch them in between the words, merely more importantly...you need to NOT CUT CORNERS while painting,
BELSTAFF ladies, and prepping. IF you do, no you don't retention time. No, you don't save money. You DO lose consumers, you DO lose time and you DO lose money.
So- DON'T SHORTCUT.
Happy Pushing!
