The Chinese government announced management reshuffles among the country’s three major state-owned airlines,Abercrombie and Fitch france, seen as a step toward the restructuring of the troubled industry.
A senior industry source told Caijing that the reshuffle will pave the way for the merger of China Eastern and a local carrier Shanghai Airlines. “Liu Shaoyong has worked in China Eastern and knows the company quite well. Under the guidance of State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration (SASAC),Abercrombie and Fitch, China Eastern's chairman and chief executive, Li Fenghua, will be replaced by China Southern's chairman Liu Shaoyong.
