Default gnstige mbt -break-

Lightning streaked across the sky, leaving a searing wound in the clouds for only a second; in that second, it revealed the pouring rain and a figure running across the dark street. This cloaked escapee splashed through puddles and strained her body to keep running, keep running, keep running! A roar of thunder followed on her heels as she tumbled to the drenched cement. She gasped, clutching the precious bundle in her arms tighter.
"It'll be okay," she whispered frantically. "Everything will be fine as soon as we're away from here."
Tears fell and mixed with the rain streaming down her face. She pushed herself up, stopping only a second longer to glance back. A light was coming toward her quickly.
"No!" She started running again, the bundle crying. A growl emitted from the darkness in front of her, and she halted too abruptly, falling backward. "No! Leave us be; this isn't right. You can't keep this child here any longer!"
"Idiot," a man's voice said. The next strike of lightning illuminated the scene in front of her: a tall, dark-haired man frowning at her, with a dog growling beside him. Both were soaked to the bone.
The baby in her arms cried louder, and the rain fell harder. It pounded against the street, against them, growing ever stronger the more the baby wailed. The woman tried to shush her, but it was to no avail.
She looked back up into the blackness. "You cannot continue this; I will not let you. This child deserves freedom and hope, not to be controlled and used as a weapon!"
"You think you can stop me? You are just a normal woman!"
"Normal, am I?" She stood up slowly, careful of the little one in her arms, and stared up into the sky. "I have never been normal, yet I am glad of that fact. Normal is dull, boring. I am so much more." She raised her hand in front of her, palm facing her adversary. The dog growled louder.
"What do you think you're going to do?" The man chuckled at her since he couldn't see what was going on.
"What I need to." Her head snapped down; her eyes were glowing brown. The ground around them started to rumble, and the canine whimpered. It took off with a frightened howl only a moment later.
Lightning flashed again, showing the man gaping at her and trying to keep his balance on the shaking earth. "What are you doing?" he screamed. "Stop this, and give me that abomination back!"
"If she is an abomination, why would you want her? Why could you possibly want something like her? Is it because you are afraid of her power? Look! Look at what she can do right now even though she is only a baby! Power like this is not an abomination; it is beauty, perfection. And you were ruining it, tainting it!" Her shouting was heard perfectly over the rain, the thunder, and the ever-growing sound of earth shifting. "I won't let you any longer! You have already upset the natural order of these things. I will give my life to correct what I can, even if it will never be fixed completely. The scars you have created run deeper than anyone could heal, but I can at least keep you from cutting more."
The cement around them cracked and flew. The ground beneath surged up, taking the man with it. It soared up and up, farther into the rain and pure black of the stormy night. The escapee sighed and let her arm fall. She brought the baby closer to her face, smiling tiredly.
"It is safe, Aquaria; no one will hurt you anymore this night."
With that, the woman trudged forward, steps sluggish and breathing labored. It took only a half hour to make it to the city, where she found the nearest door and knocked. She set Aquaria on the stoop with a small, silver necklace bearing the baby's name.
"You will live wonderfully, gnstige mbt, Aquaria, and you will find the other three you are meant to know and befriend. You will be the one to calm them, put out the fire that is their emotions. Nothing will bring you down but your own self-doubt. I give you this oath: you are one of the four fated, and you will be great. May we meet when you are ready."
Footsteps resounded behind the door. The woman touched two fingers to Aquaria's forehead and smiled softly before fleeing as the door flew open.

On another continent entirely, a similar situation was being played out. A baby was stolen from a house situated in the middle of a forest, and the captor ran as men with guns followed.
He ducked around trees with great agility, sending streams of water at his enemies. The water was almost solid and hit with a /snap/. One of the chasers fired a shot, hitting the man in the leg; he fell, throwing out a hand: A cushion of water broke his fall. He checked the little one he held before pointing to the light indicative of sparser trees and the exit. The water surged, taking him and the baby with it.
More shots went off, and yells could be heard as they cleared the tree line. A cliff met his sight, but he directed the water to continue; it dissipated as they went over the cliff, and the man tightened his hold on the baby as they free-fell. The people chasing them stared over the edge, glaring and waving their guns.
He laughed at their threats and incompetence, saluting them with two fingers. He then called the water from the sea below him to stop his descent and place him gently on board a waiting ship. As the ship took off, he waved.
They were out of sight around the cliff wall in a minute, and the kidnapper collapsed into a chair. He grasped the wound in his leg with one hand and grit his teeth, trying not to let his emotions upset the bundle he had; unfortunately, it was a wasted attempt.
The baby cried, and the wind picked up around the ship until they were in the middle of a twister. The ship spun around and around, tiffany armreif, faster and faster-
"Could you stop that thing!" the captain yelled as he emerged from his cabin. He had one hand over his hat and the other fastened to the door knob, not that it was really helping as his feet were leaving the ship.
The other man let go of his leg, putting a smile on his face. "Shh, Vantus, you aren't under their 'protection' anymore, and I am perfectly fine. Calm your wind."
Very slowly, the wind died down. The ship was set back atop gentle waves. Vantus sniffled but was otherwise quiet.
"Good. Now let's get that leg cleaned up," the captain said briskly, striding over. He stopped when he received a shake of the head. "Etz, you can't be serious. You'll die!"
Etz shrugged. "It's not my place to stay. There is a new generation, tory burch flip flops, and they are now the rulers. Better to get out of the way now so as not to complicate matters later."
"Complica C you have got to be kidding. Just because they are the new elementals doesn't mean you have to go. That is just crazy."
"Look," Etz said sharply, "this is how it is going to be; no ifs, ands, or buts. You are going to take Vantus and find him a decent home. I am going to find a nice place to rest as soon as we get to land. There is no debating this point. Star, Paul, and Liz are rescuing the other three as we speak. I am expected to carry out my duty, whether I like it or not. We all understand the consequences of these four being born this early.
"Now, can we please get a move on? My power is draining fast, and we need to get where we're going in a timely manner."
The captain opened his mouth, caught sight of Etz's glare, and stopped himself from protesting. "Fine." He walked back into his cabin and slammed the door.
Etz sighed. He raised the hand covered in blood and rotated it in a circle. The boat started moving again, setting itself back on its previous course and speeding up.
As the boat was pushed along by a steady wave, Etz looked down at Vantus. "You will live exceptionally, Vantus, and you will find the other three you are meant to know and befriend. You will be the one to refresh them, like a cooling breeze. Nothing but your own vanity will bring you down; you must learn to humble yourself. I give you this oath: you are one of the four fated, and you will be great. Sadly, I do not think we will be meeting; only one of us is allowed to stay to train you." He gave a weak smile.
The boat rocked gently as the wave continued pushing it toward freedom.

A slight woman walked purposefully toward a shiny silver building that towered above those surrounding it. She had a hoody on, with the hood up to obscure her face. Her eyes were hidden in darkness; a small star below her left eye and the rest of her face was the only thing to be seen. She was smirking, and her hands twisted in the large front pocket of her garment.
A man held open the door for her as she approached (though he did so with a sneer). She went down the white hallway and stopped at an open door.
"May I help you?" the woman inside the room said as she stared disapprovingly.
"Sure, I guess. I mean, I don't really need help, but you can try it you want."
The woman's mouth tightened imperceptibly. "Please, sit." When her invitation was rejected, she frowned openly. "Your name, then?"
"Star."
"Well... Ms. Star, what is it you are here for?"
"Not much. I'm looking for a baby, but, like, not just any baby or whatever; this is a special little infant, controls the power of fire, you know?"
"What are you talking about? This is not someplace you would find babies. Nor would you find what you are really looking for: a mental ward. Leave before I call security."
Star shrugged, stepping into the room. She made no move to close the door, yet it glided gently shut. "Aw, but ma'am, this is seriously important. This baby is super special and critical to the whole world's survival!" Star waved her hands wildly in a pantomime of 'the world'. "I need to find this kid."
"I am calling security."
She reached for the phone to dial, but her hand smacked down centimeters from it. She pulled, pushed, and jerked to no avail, even trying to pry her hand up with her free one. "What did you do? Let me go!"
From the darkness of her hood, green eyes glowed menacingly. "Honestly, I was attempting to be civil, but you have forced my hand. I no longer care for this banter. Tell me where the child is, or I will do more than bind you wrist to a desk."
"I really have no idea what you are talking about!"
"Hm. You don't, do you? Sad because I have found what I was looking for."
The door opened again and a bundled red blanket flew through the opening. Star caught it and cooed at the baby. Her eyes ceased to glow, and her victim was released. Star glanced back at the woman and waved.
"Thanks for everything. Bye!"
She skipped out of the room and back to the front door, rocking the baby back and forth. No one was on the hall, but as she stepped outside, men surrounded her. They pointed their guns at her, causing Star to stop her skipping and rocking.
"Guns? In the presence of a child? How uncouth. Must I teach you all a lesson?" She shook her head, hood falling back to reveal black hair and vibrant eyes. The air itself seemed to wrap around her in a protective bubble.
The men laughed. "What could you possibly do to us?" one asked haughtily.
"What could I not do to you?" Star grinned; immediately, the one who had spoken gasped for breath. His hands scrambled at his neck, eyes bulging. As quick as it came, it left, and he could breath again. "Would you like to try a different question?"
The men scowled and cocked their guns.
"Oh, tut, tut." She waggled a finger at them. Right as their guns went off, she bent her legs and sprang into the air. She flipped gracefully and landed lightly on her feet. Without a backward glance, Star took off, running down the street and dodging people expertly. The men pursued.
Star peeked over her shoulder and sped up; they were gaining. She ducked into an alley and sprinted to the end, making to turn left C
A thunderous /bang/ was followed by the sound of Star's shriek. She clutched her shoulder, legs collapsing under her. The baby fell from her loose grip into her lap and then to the ground.
"Damn it," Star hissed. She gathered what strength she had to put up a wall between her and her attackers. After, she inched over to the baby. "You will live beautifully, little Kyden, and you will find the other three you are meant to know and befriend. You will be the one to fan the flames of their resolve, to up their morale. Nothing but your stubbornness will bring you down; you may be hard-willed, but you will not be wise if you do not learn. I give you this oath: you are one of the four fated, and you will be great. Alas, here is where we part. Have fun, and say hi to Liz for me." Star brought her fist close to her mouth and blew into it. She opened her hand toward Kyden, and he floated up to eye level. A small pendant with his name formed in the air and dropped into his blankets. "Live well."
The bundle flew out of sight around the corner, and Star's barrier came crashing down behind her. Gunshots rang out through the city.

An island loomed in the distance. It was shrouded in mist, it's appearance rippling like a reflection in disturbed water. From the shore of an adjacent island, a man watched. He sat stock still, legs crossed and arms resting easily on them. His short, dark brown hair was ruffled by the wind coming off the ocean. His eyes were closed, though it was obvious he was alert by the tenseness in his muscles.
Birds chirped in the dense trees that his back faced, but nothing disturbed his position - until a small, wooden boat appeared on the water. His eyes snapped open, zeroing in on the speck in the distance.
It approached at a steady pace, only one man rowing. The boat grew bigger and bigger, closing in on the man's position. He stood and clasped his hands behind his back. The boy (as it was obvious now that he was closer) rowing looked up and saw the waiting stranger. He paused in his movements then decided to continue.
The boy ran the boat ashore and climbed out. He picked up something from the floor of the craft and turned to hand it over the man.
"I appreciate your bravery, especially as you could not be sure I was who you needed to be giving this to. Take your payment." The man held out a medium-sized pouch and took the item from the boy.
The boy eagerly nabbed the pouch and jumped back into his boat after pushing it off the sand. "Thanks, mister!"
The man inclined his head, unraveling the blankets around his prize. His mouth upturned into a sinister grin. "Hello there, lady Tierria."
A twig snapped somewhere in the trees. The man whipped around and scanned the darkness. He shrugged it off when he saw nothing and walked off around the perimeter of the island.
A pair of glowing red eyes tracked his movements from within the safety of the thick trees.
Right as he went to disappear around the trees, a fire sprang up in his path. He leapt back in shock and rounded on the figure springing for him.
Paul tackled him to the ground while snatching the baby from his arms, keeping her from harm.
"Green, what are you doing here?" Paul growled through clenched teeth. He flipped himself to a standing position and looked balefully down at Green, who glared up at him. "Did you really think we would allow you to get your hands on any of them?"
"Whether you would or wouldn't allow me is not the problem. I will have them. At this moment, the two we didn't have are being secured, and I am getting the last one. Give her to me before you get hurt."
"How cliche, Green. And how wrong. Liz, Star, and Etz have already liberated the three you had. I can feel it. Two of my comrades have been lost due to you. I'm afraid I will be going as well but not before I get Tierria far away from you!" Paul threw a ball of fire at Green.
Green rolled to the side and pushed himself up. "You lie! I made sure they were provided top security."
"Top security, you say?" Paul laughed derisively. "I guess it was top in killing my friends, but it surely didn't keep the elementals in your grasp. Give it up: I have Tierria, and you cannot possibly defeat me."
Green cursed under his breath; he dug in his jacket for a gun but was thwarted as soon as he raised it to point at Paul. A rope of flame seized the gun and pulled it from his hand, melting the barrel in the process.
"Any more tricks you would like to try?"
Green shook his head.
"Good. Here's a parting gift."
Paul swiped his hand through the air: flames erupted in a circle around Green. Paul smirked and left his enemy to fight the fire.
He walked at a leisurely pace. "You will live differently, Tierria, but you will find the other three you are meant to know and befriend. You will be the one to ground them and give them something to hold on to. Your impetuousness will be the quality to bring you down. To act rashly is a natural defense against your element and its expectations, but it could get you killed. I give you this oath: you are one of the four fated, and you will be great. Be sure to train hard and be nice to Liz." He tucked a charm with 'Tierria' burned into it in her blankets. They came to a tiny village; Paul gave the nearest dwelling a once over, then knocked.
A woman answered the door. She looked around but only saw a bundle of blankets on her doorstep.
