Default How to format windows 7 ultimate without removing the windows itself?

I am planning to install Office 2010 Pro Plus Serial Key and I am considering getting Windows 7. I have been shopping online and I have found Microsoft Office Standard and Windows 7 Upgrade. When I think of an upgrade, I think of it as something to improve Office Pro Plus 2010 X64 I already have. Is this the case with Windows 7 Professional 64bit? Is it an improvement on Windows 7? If so, why hasn't the upgrade been integrated with the Windows 7 software?

Default How to format windows 7 ultimate without removing the windows itself?

I just bought a new sunlife Microsoft Office 2007 Professional tomorrow and need my laptop to run Windows 7 Home Basic 32bit for their software. Currently i have Office 2010 Pro Serial installed. I want to know if I can split my hard drive and when computer boots I can choose xp or Office Professional 2010 64 Bit. So I can use xp for work and windows 7 for home. Since i don't have the cd for Windows 7 Professional I don't want to remove it completely. Any suggestions and help would be appreciated!
