The 2006 Envision Cup has opened its registration! This year's theme is "Imagine a world where technology enables us to live healthier lives." It's "a challenge to the world's top student technologists to actively contribute to the mission of improving health around the world." Health means different things to different people. You may think of health as a medical breakthrough. Or you may think of health simply as a clean glass of water. In the Envision Cup, you define health and decide how to use technology to make a real difference in the lives of people everywhere. Imagine Cup, for anyone not familiar with it,Microsoft Office Standard, is the world's largest and most inclusive student technology competition. Yes, it's sponsored by Microsoft , and it's committed to providing students with a real world technology experience,Microsoft Office Standard 2007, encouraging them to innovate, compete, and connect with their peers. And yes,Office 2007 Enterprise Key, I lifted that explanation from the Envision Cup website. Having attended other coding / technical competitions, I think Envision Cup differentiates itself in that it's not just about who is best at algorithmic design (... although that is one area of competition, for those algorithmic whizzes.) ... It's about the full experience of "shipping" something ... working with a team, prioritizing requirements,Windows 7 Code, coding,Microsoft Office Home And Business 2010, testing, and seeing your creation come to life.
