Computer software News Tags: COA, home computer, MS, questionsI can't try it out right now since I won't be near my laptop computer for a bit but does anybody know if the phone number you call to activate your copy of windows is 24/7 or only available during certain hours?
I format my home pc every 3 or so months to keep it fresh so i'm guessing that's the reason my copy of windows says I've activated it too many times now and I need to call a rep to get my new key. Such a hastle.Yes, it's open 24/7.
Do you have a COA sticker on your home pc? That one is specially designed to validate against your hardware, so you can use it over and over.
Also,
Windows 7 Activation, MS will probably advise you to create a restore point first thing after reformatting. That way,
Microsoft Office 2007, you can just revert to the "installation-fresh" restore point without the hassle of completely reformatting.Yes when I called it was an automated system, you just have to answer a few questions for it.I had the understanding that you had to wait 120 before you could activate XP online again,
Office 2007 Enterprise, otherwise you had to call. Just wanted to add that I bought my pc new over 3 years ago,
Office 2007 Product Key, and have never had to format or do anything drastic at all to it. Just keep it clean as you go…I always delete cookies and temp files,
Microsoft Office 2010, and I use Ccleaner. I've personally only defragmented my hard drive only twice in the last 3 years or so. And also make sure I delete anything in my recylce bin before the end of the day. And I use AVG Free.Depending on your location, yes 24/7
