She left suddenly, and returned quickly, after having taken a look out the window of the new master bathroom in the new home. "Oh! She said. "There's nothing between your bathroom and the horizon, except the sun!"
I told her; "You tell your husband, that in the morning (July:) he can use that bathroom for his daily "constitution", as they used to call it." She knew then, that I was going for one of my "gotcha's"!
There are reasons for this. Some people think I am nuts! I am not, that is, completely nuts. I am crazy however. That I confess, and also recognize, and to a point I live with that. I adapt my life to fit this. If you think I should adapt to fit my life, think again! You don't! What makes you think I should? Freud?
If you are in this country, legally or otherwise. Run, do not walk, to get yourself a passport. From your country of origin! If you have a "greencard", and weather or not you have renewed it for forty years! No matter if you are a Doctor, blue collar laborer, or a bum! Go now and apply for a passport, then come back into this country, (we all have to have passports to shop in Canada now! I ain't kidding your here!) and apply for citizenship. If you have not done so already.
We, citizens of America, are not paying attention to "change" enough to know, as you that are not citizens probably do by now, that you are about to be cheated of your rightful money, by the United States of America!
We are now at the "gotcha!" point in this discussion. You see, it is like the guy one time that was holding a camera, taping a news report, while working for some "major three" (old time thinking here:) national television networks. The reporter, after having done "due diligence", in gaining knowledge of her subject, was just saying to the camera, "The United States is declaring an Amnesty...they are now letting persons not American citizens, but living in this country illegally, apply for citizenship, and remain in this country indefinitly The camera began to wobble. Then it went to the concrete sidewalk! As the cameraman, leaving his work, went into the government office building behind her! Yeah, he was not an American citizen. He was an illegal alien, lying about, and "proving" citizenship to get his job by use of illegal papers! "Gotcha!" is going to hurt some. Sorry.
Now, if you are not an "American Citizen" on some "magical" date, you will no longer be elligable to draw that "Social Security" whenever you retire! Yep, you been had!
You see, if you are not an American. And you have for forty years, worked like a dog in this country to make a wage and have a life filled with all the good things in this country, like a home, car, children with educations, and so forth. You had to do so by also paying your "fair share" of income tax. And that means you paid "Social Security" That's in quotation marks because it ain't!
That is much like shaking the bottle of orange juice after you poured you a glass full! Ain't it? If this "change" don't make ya' dizzy; "dean" I don't know what will!
Now I been in Mexico a few times. And why in the world the Mexican's would want to leave it mens gucci sunglasses, I have no idea! Except for their rights, and gainful employment, is oppressing them! In short; their government is oppressing them! Class, as well as income is the point of their social order, you see?
I can change "screwdrivers", but I get very angry whenever I have to go find the one I need to do the job. I can change shoes. If the dang shoes are where I last put them! Having to turn the light on, or try to fetch them from a closet, just irks me no end! Ok, I am wierd, but I said that didn't I?

My daughter, grown, college educated, and married (none of which I helped her accomplish) saw the cap hanging in the bathroom. Her husband was afraid that I had indeed gone "over the edge"! She, however, being raised by a Vietnam Veteran (you had to be there:) decided to ask me, "Ok, dad. Why do you have a cap hanging in the bathroom off the master bedroom? My husband thinks you might be losing it!"
Yep, we do! Indeed we do. But; "Homeland Security" is not doing that! A wall, that they just approved will not do it either! That is "pabulum" as the Communists used to call it; "For the people"! Ok, I digress. But I ain't kidding you here! You are about to pay and pay and pay! Your life's work is being stolen from you! Your, and my, heritage, what small amount that we have, is about to halt in its historical tracks!
What in the world has all this "antique-dote-al" stuff have to do with Politics? I'm glad you asked! It is all about Politics! America; Change; and Adapting to that change. I hate it! And let me tell you brother, as you are way too busy to care, you are about to be hit in the face by the bright light of sudden knowledge, soon! Got your cap ready? If you are going to Mexico. Crossing the "manmade" border to pay a visit. You will have a great time. Living in Mexico! Because if ever you want to come back, now a day, you have to have a passport to do so!

Ever try to put on shoes in an emergency, when there was none to put on?
