Samsung provides subtle changes to the Galaxy S for Vodafone subscribers.
The Galaxy S Plus comes loaded with
Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread and Samsung's custom TouchWiz 3.0 UI,HP Envy 17 3D, providing support for the latest games and applications. The processor is much faster at 1.4GHz,Canon XL H1S, but it's still a single-core chipset. Aside from the larger 1,JVC GZ-HD40,650mAh battery,Canon EOS 7D, everything else remains pretty much untouched.
U.K. Web site TechRadar recently spent some time with the new phone,ASUS G73, which falls somewhere in the middle of the two iterations.

Looking more like a refresh of 2010's model,Sony HDR-TD10, the Plus largely resembles its predecessor on the surface. Save for the glossy chrome rim around the bezel and lighter weight,Dell Alienware M15x, the phone could easily be mistaken for the original Galaxy S. The differences becomes obvious,Canon XF100, however,Dell Latitude E4200, once the device is powered on.
According to TechRadar,Sony HXR-MC2000U, the Galaxy S Plus is expected to be offered for free to Vodafone subscribers who agree to a �30 monthly rate plan.
