April 15It was all crashing down. The bombs were coming down upon the city in torrents. No buildings were left. The mighty Empire was gone, decimated back to the Stone Age. He looked upon the desolate streets that used to be lined with beautiful homes and businesses. It would take a decade to remake this city. Bricks and pieces of concrete were the only reminders that buildings used to line the streets. He remembered parading down these streets with his nation's people saluting him,
Juicy Couture Tracksuits, throwing flowers at him. He had failed them. He had failed the people who had given him his divine power. They had trusted in him the hopes and dreams of a once devastated country. They thought he could make them a world power again. He had succeeded at overtaking the continent,
Sonnenbrille Ray Ban 3026, but by succeeding he had sealed his own fate.He had angered the little bees around his mighty bear of a country, and the little bees came together in a swarm and overthrew his bear. He had invested so much in sustaining this war, but he had not won. He had failed. He had failed his country, his people, and himself. The enemy would be here in less than a month. He was sending the children of his nation to the front lines. He was throwing their lives away for he knew there was no hope for the war. What would he do when the enemy arrived? He pondered this question as he went back to his car.The driver took him back to the bunker where he had his government headquarters. He thought to himself 'This is pathetic. This Empire has been reduced to not being able to hold government at its capitol building. This is a disgrace.' He was ushered inside the concrete building and went straight to his private chambers. Inside he put his coat on the rack and removed his hat. He had to do something, something that would keep the dreams of the Empire alive. His personal aid rushed into the office. "Sir, the head of the Science Wing is here to speak to you.""Send him in, and do knock next time please."His aide left and came back a minute later with a short man in an old brown blazer, dirty slacks and huge spectacles that made his face distorted behind the glass. He held a small briefcase in his small fragile hands. He walked to the seat in front of the desk, saluted him and sat down."What do you have for me Anton?""In this briefcase is the photos taken of the first test flight of the Capsule.""Let us see them then."The man opened the briefcase and before removing the photographs, took a handkerchief and whipped his face. Sweat was pouring off him. The bunker was not air conditioned and it was easily ninety degrees inside. The first photo was of a large bell shaped craft in the center of a concrete pad. The craft was tethered to posts on the outside of the concrete pad. Technicians were around the device, and it was easily four meters tall.Anton described how this craft had incomprehensible capabilities. When an electrical current had been run through the power core, it began vibrating to the point of bending in between matter. Anton said that none of the scientists had any idea what the Capsule did.Anton took out the next photo. It showed the same area of concrete that the Capsule was, but the craft was not there anymore."What is this picture of Anton?""When the electrical current was introduced, the vibrations started. They reached a certain point,
discount true religion, and then the craft disappeared.""It disappeared?""Yes and then it came back.""This is impossible. Are you sure?""Yes, and that is not all. The craft has a sensor that would turn off the power core after three minutes. The craft left after two minutes and came back twenty minutes later. The power core was still running. That is impossible, except if the place that the Capsule went to did not have the same time length as this universe.""Are you saying that the Capsule went out to a different universe and didn't age a second and came back?""Precisely""Can the length of being in the alternate universe be altered?""We are working on that right now, and it looks like it will work."He thanked Anton as he left. As the scientist walked down the corridor in the dark bunker the man cracked a smile as his mind began to race. This was the opportunity of a life time. To not take it would mean the death of all his dreams and ambitions, and most likely him. He was alone in his office and saw ahead the greatest achievement in human history. He would take the world over again.Topics related articles:
