We remember when Andy Carroll was younger he had neat short hair, unlike the pony tail he is now wearing.
Andy Carroll - this is how he looked two years ago
And the truth is coming out today, that when Jonas Gutierrez arrived at Newcastle in the summer of 2008, Andy liked the look of Jonas’ long hair, and about 9 months later started to grow his hair long.
That’s the really big news coming out today in the Newcastle Journal, along with the fact that Jonas believes Andy can become on great player.
This is what Jonas said this morning:
“He has a big opportunity now after his England cap,
ghds,” “He has a big future in English football.” “If he is clever and starts to learn about the great footballers here in England and around Europe and studies them, he can be a really, really good player.”
“I like his hair. I hear Kevin Nolan has told him to get his hair cut, but I say no Andy keep it long. When I came here he had really short hair, then he saw me and he wanted to look as good as me.”
“Now he has got great hair, nice and long and he looks as good as me,
hair straighteners uk! It is better for a footballer to have long hair. Now he looks a bit South American! No, he should never get it cut.”
“I know the story of Samson and look what happened to him when he cut his hair. He lost all his strength. I never cut my hair just in case, the same with Andy.”
We believe Andy is still living with Kevin Nolan and his family, so it’s interesting that Kevin wants him to get his hair cut.
So let’s get this straight – both Kevin and Jonas want Andy to have hair styles like they have.
The main thing is not Andy’s hair, but how well he keeps playing for Newcastle, and the lads could really do with all 3 points at the Reebok today, however hard that may look.
The games at Everton and Arsenal also looked really difficult, but we were able to persevere and come out with all 3 points, and we could do that today,
Tigi, but only if the team is at or near their top form.
And big Andy can get a goal or two this afternoon.
