Default Microsoft Office 2010 Product Key blog personal-po

Wow. I feel like I’ve hardly posted in the last few weeks, and well, I guess I haven’t. So that I can finally get back on track and start blogging about the topics most burning on your minds (don’t worry … I haven’t forgotten the Suggestion Box!), I figured I should update everyone on my recent goings-on. Once I get that business out of the way, I can move forward. So here goes …

In late August,Microsoft Office 2010 Product Key, I took that great Greyhound of the skies to good ol’ Manchester, Tennessee, the town that spawned yours truly. My activities included a visit to Davy Crockett’s Roadhouse (always a must … gotta love that Tullahoma Springwater), strolling through Old Timer’s Day, and relaxing at the lake (a wonderful redeeming quality of the typical visit). I will restrain myself from continuing any discussion on the fine town of Manchester, at least until my parents eventually migrate further south. But trust me, I’ve got a pile of material saved up on this mystical place!

September 1st marked Josh’s and my two year wedding anniversary. Josh had a baseball game on our actual anniversary so we celebrated a day early … actually, right after Zo"e’s and my MSDN chat. Josh bought me a dozen roses, and we ate a fine dinner at my current favorite restaurant, Purple Café & Wine Bar in Woodinville.

On my actual anniversary, my friend Jennifer and I caught a hush-hush Robin Williams show downtown. First row, baby. Best … anniversary … EVER.

Later that week, our boys, Oliver and Duncan, began Intermediate Obedience at Cascade Kennels. That's right ... school is back in session! Oliver took this course about two years ago, but Duncan is a first timer. Oliver and I are paired against Josh and Duncan, and if I can control Ollie’s temper tantrums, we’re sure to reign victorious. I’ve also promised Oliver that if he does super well in this class, I will work my butt off to finally fulfill his dream of becoming a professional actor. Anybody need a beautiful 2 1/2 year old Bernese Mountain dog for film shoots and/or modeling? He’s almost ready for work! I love being a stage mother.

To fully celebrate our anniversary, the Ledgards (minus our kitty Andi) traveled north to that peaceful wonderland they call Canada. While at Whistler, BC (one of our favorite ... um, I mean "favourite"... weekend getaways), we made our obligatory visit to the Longhorn (yes, that’s how the next version of Windows got its name), relaxed in the village, watched a lot of the Discovery Channel (is it just me or is this channel way racy now? Maybe it’s just so those silly Canucks!) and hiked in the mountains.

We chose a trip to Joffre Lakes because we had hiked it before and knew it was relatively easy ... but last time, it hadn't been raining like a mofo. While on our hike, our youngest pup, Duncan, fell into a raging river (ok, it was a stream but it was raging!) and was saved by a kindly BC Parks Ranger. After receiving a good lecture about keeping our dogs on leash (we know, we know), the ranger told us about the many dogs he’s seen float down river (ok ... down “stream”) only never to return. The boys stayed on-leash after that.

I make light of the situation, but we were very, very scared, and we are eternally grateful to that wonderful BC Parks employee. We thought about writing to the BC Parks department to express our gratitude, but then we figured those crazy Canadians would just slap us with a ticket for not keeping the pups on-leash. So to that wonderful park worker … thank you!

The day after our traumatic experience, Josh and I vegged while the boys enjoyed a fun-filled day (and much needed bath) at the Puppy Zone and Adventure Centre. I do love daycare.

Today found us back at work and ready to roar into autumn. And with that, expect to read more from me from here on out! Good riddance to summertime!

p.s. Here's a picture of Oliver, Duncan, and me after our hike. Our boys were ready for their naps!
