Cisco VPN Client for Win7 64-bit (beta) IT Dualis

A although back again Cisco IOS hints and tricks had a publish about working the vpn customer on Win7. Now there is certainly an up-to-date publish having a comment that Cisco’s Philip Remaker left on the original post pointing at a new beta version that is already available and should be working on Win7 64-bit:

In addition to serving as a general maintenance release,Label Printers Desktop Handheld PC – Brother USA,Office 2007 Ultimate Key, the Cisco VPN Customer 5.0.7 beta is compatible with Windows 7 & Windows Vista 64-bit environments.
A 64-bit specific compatible image is available for installation on these platforms.

There are currently no plans to support Windows XP 64 bit in the VPN client.
