1995: Back from his brief baseball sabbatical, Jordan wears the Air Jordan X -- featuring a sole that lists his career accomplishments -- and drops 55 points on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden in his return.
1996: The signature shoe of the line, the Air Jordan XI is worn during the Bulls’ 72-10 season and their title run. Space Jam spawns a special and sought after version of the shoe that collectors still crave. At an awards show, Boyz II Men famously wears the patent leather shoe with tuxedos.
1998: Although Jordan wears the Air Jordan XIII for the 1997-98 season, he wears the Air Jordan XIV when hitting his memorable winner over Bryon Russell for his sixth title.
2003: Jordan calls it quits wearing the Air Jordan XVIII for the Wizards, but he welcomes Carmelo Anthony to the fold. Anthony is now joined by Chris Paul, Derek Jeter, Dwyane Wade, Ray Allen, Maya Moore and others who carry on the Jordan Brand legacy.
Lucy Lawless pounded the streets today as she continued to support the earth(activated bleaching earth)quake-ravaged people of Christchurch.
Lawless - who found international fame in her role of Xena Warrior Princess - was a starter in the fund-raising Britomart Block Benefit through the streets of central Auckland.
She was one of four members of the LMI Work Horse team who took part in the three-hour relay which began at 9.51am.
All funds raised by the teams taking part are going to the Red Cross Christchurch earth(bleaching clay)quake Appeal.
''Kiwis have put hundreds of man-hours and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support Christchurch, but there's still a huge amount of funds needed to help rebuild the city and get peoples lives back on track,'' Lawless said.
''The more sponsors I receive, the more funds I can raise for the Red Cross Christchurch earth(bleaching clay)quake Appeal.''
The Britomart Block Benefit saw team members run, walk, skip and hop their way around a 735 metre course at Britomart.
Musicians P-Money and DJ Sir-Vere were also among the competitors racing to raise money for Christchurch.
Other activities that took place alongside the relay were a slam dunk competition featuring some of New Zealand's top basketball talent, displays from Red Bull Team skaters and BMXers, appearances from nike(nike is world famous, we are professional oem factory of nike shoes, we sell many cheap shoes,cheap nike,cheap nike max 2012 and so on)-sponsored athletes and performances from local DJs.
An auction was also held featuring signed sports memorabilia and artwork from leading Kiwi artists.
Organisers said they hoped the event would raise over $250,000 for the Christchurch appeal.

Last weekend many of the top teams on the AAU scene in the Mid-Atlantic region invaded Baltimore to participate in the nike(nike is world famous, we are professional oem factory of nike shoes, we sell many nike dunk,nike running shoes,nike air max and so on) Baltimore Elite Invitational. Most of the 17U action took place at Annapolis Area Christian School and that is where NBE Basketball Report’s Matt Whitfield spent his time Friday night and much of the day on Saturday. Below are some of the key recruiting notes he was able to pick up on in his time at the event.
Mike Owona: 6-foot-9; Class of 2013; Baltimore Elite – College physique already and just finished his sophomore season at John Carroll in Bel Air (MD). The native of Cameroon has decent agility and athletic ability for a young big man, moving well for a player his size. Battles on the boards, but still has a very raw offensive game with little in low post moves to score with back to the basket. While Owona definitely needs to work on his basketball fundamentals, he definitely has a shot to play basketball at the high-major level in the future as he has only been playing the game for four years.
As for his recruiting, he told NBE he has interest from Oklahoma, Old Dominion, Virginia Tech, Xavier and Maryland.

Kameron Williams: 6-foot-2; Class of 2013; Baltimore Elite – Williams is an exciting scorer that starred in his sophomore season for Mount St. Joseph coach Pat Clatchey. He has continued to see his stock rise early this AAU season with some high scoring outbursts this spring. Williams told NBE over the weekend he is on the radar of progrms such as Providence, Miami, George Mason, VCU, Richmond and Maryland.

Jamel Artis: 6-foot-5; Class of 2012; Baltimore Elite – The versatile wing left Baltimore’s Dunbar High for St. Benedict’s last season. However he might be returning to his roots for his senior season next fall.
“I would say Dematha,” Artis told NBE’s Matt Whitfield this weekend when asked where he would be attending school next fall.
The long and athletic wing lists interest from interest from Maryland, Connecticut, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Xavier and hopes to take an unofficial visit up to Syracuse this summer.

Kelvin Howard: 6-foot-5; Class of 2013; Team Takeover – The DeMatha sophomore told NBE last weekend that he has interest from Seton Hall, Rutgers and West Virginia.

'13 multi-sport prospect Derrick Griffin of Houston Defenders
Derrick Griffin: 6-foot-7; Class of 2013; Houston Defenders – The two-sport star from Terry High School in Richmond (TX) runs the floor well, like a wide receiver, which he is one. He had a nice, no-look, behind-the-back dunk within the first couple minutes of the game. Showed his athletic ability time and time again against Players Teaching Players with five dunks. He worked hard in the paint and was more athletic, physical and stronger than anyone he would face. Would definitely be a high-major basketball prospect but he is also the same on the gridiron and he is unsure of which sport he will pursue in college.
Has interest from Florida, Texas, Texas A&M, Oregon and Baylor in hoops with interest from Baylor, Texas, Kansas, Oregon and North Carolina in football.

Shaquille Cleare: 6-foot-9; Class of 2012; Houston Defenders – The highly regarded big man prospect in the rising senior class out of the Village School in Houston (TX) was supposed to be a big draw for Maryland fans as word was he had Maryland at, or near, the top of his list of schools entering the event. Now with Gary Williams announcing his retirement the list seems to be expanding with Kentucky having interest (although they have yet to see him play) and Kansas, Arizona, Baylor, Texas, Texas Tech, Maryland, Miami, Florida State, Kansas State, and Baylor have offered per Aaron Williams, Head Coach of Houston Defenders

Darrick Wood: 6-foot-4; Class of 2012; NJ Playaz – Another player enjoying a very good spring, the Mid-Atlantic native now attending NIA Prep in NJ mentioned Oklahoma State (offer), Seton Hall (offer), Rutgers (offer), Connecticut, Maryland, Villanova, USC, UCLA and Arizona, West Virginia (offer) and Georgetown (offer).

Nick Gorski: 6-foot-7; Class of 2013 – Intriguing power forward right ont he cusp of high major/elite mid-major recruit.

Jairus Lyles: 6-foot; Class of 2013; Team Takeover – Continues the assembly-line production of high-major prospects out of DeMatha High School. Expect to see his recruitment ramp up through the summer and be one of the more highly recruited point guards in the region a year from now.
I have no offers right now, but I know a couple schools like NC State, VCU, Virginia, Wisconsin, South Florida [and] Miami are looking at me right now.”
Here is Lyles description of his game in his own words: “I’m pretty fast. I like to run the floor. I’m a little fancy. I like to get my teammates involved and I can shoot the ball.”

Stanford Robinson: 6-foot-4; Class of 2013; Team Takeover – The Paul VI product is establishing himself as one of the top prospects in on the East Coast in the Class of 2013. He mentioned offers from UMass and Rutgers and a wide range of interest from schools in the SEC/ACC/Big 10, as well as the BIG EAST.
“I got a lot of schools from the Big East looking at me such as Georgetown,” said Robinson.
