(Sponsored Link) After years of waiting and only one year after the release of the Jordan laser 4s, in July of 2006, Jordan Brand finally dropped the “Fire Red” IV with a new twist. In came the “Mars” IV sneakers. These shoes were named after Mars Blackmon, played by Spike Lee, who was a popular character in the Jordan shoe commercials. Lets take a moment to review Spikes favorite kicks. The uppers consist <a href="http://www.8shoxonline.com/nike-shox-torch-shoes-c-14.html"><strong>Nike Shox Torch Sale</strong></a> of white leather with red and black accents are very reminiscent of the OG Air Jordan “Fire Reds” In a perfect world all pairs of IV’s would stay this crease free on the toe box.Â*Unfortunately, the Air Jordan 4s are known to crease with just a few wears. The 2 main differences between the “Fire Reds” and “Mars” <a href="http://www.8shoxonline.com/products_new.html"><strong>New Nike Shox Shoes</strong></a> are shown right here. The “Fire Reds” sported the Nike Air logo with a swoosh on the heal of the shoe, whereas the “Mars” went with the Jordan Jumpman logo along with an embossed picture ofÂ*Mars Blackmon on the side of the shoe. In this closeup picture, you can see that the Mars Blackmon logo is embossed into the leather. Another difference is the Nike logo <a href="http://www.8shoxonline.com/shox-monster-shoes-c-5.html"><strong>Nike Shox NZ Shoes</strong></a> was also replace with the Jordan Jumpman logo on the outer sole of the shoe. What kind of review would this be without a closeup picture of the stars on the sole of the shoe? Keeping with the updated theme, again Jordan Brand replaced the Nike logo on the insole of the shoe with the Jordan Jumpan logo. Of course you know we are going to provide a closeup of the tag for your reference. They were a general release and originally sold for 115. And, even though our website is called Retro XI, I got to admit that the Mars 4s are one of my personal favorites.
