Skechers sues Sears over shoe patent,
ring 18-carat white gold screws ring, trademark claims
Skechers USA Inc. sued Sears Holdings Corp. for selling footwear that infringes the patents and trademarks for products such as Shape-ups and Twinkle Toes.
Skechers is seeking monetary damages and a court-ordered prohibition of the sale of the products,

“While we value our relationship with Sears,

Sears is selling the allegedly infringing products,
cartier rings, which go by the brand names TheraShoe,
Cartier Pearl Earing with Yellow Gold Plated Double C, Melrose Avenue,
cartier costliest ring, Paris Blues and Athletech,
cartier charity love bracelet, at Sears and Kmart stores and on websites,
cartier 2301, Skechers said. Sears and Kmart also sell Skechers shoes,
vintage cartier rings, according to their websites.
Skechers rose 30 cents,
