According to papers filed in Manhattan federal court, Lancome gave the "false impression" that Thurman was still affiliated with the brand after her four-year contract came to a close in 2004 and failed to query wholesalers and retailers to stop exhibiting the ads in which she featured.
"Celebrities ambition immediately be detailed about act deals with Lancome," says the star's lawyer, Bert Fields. "They persisted to use her photographs long after the contract was over."
Lancome, however, claims it did not violate the contract.
