Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer could rejoin the club for early as Tuesday after spending period aboard the maimed catalogue with a sore lower back. Mauer went 0-for-3 and grabbed seven innings Saturday night in his second rehabilitation game with Class-A Fort Myers. He was 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs and caught 7 innings Friday night.

Lo and behold, this new Emerson was asked to play for Qatar — perfectly legal according to FIFA rules, except for the fact that the real Emerson had previously played for the Brazil U-20s.
