Default Windows 7 Professional Twitter Starts Accepting Ad

OnlineMarketing Search EngineMarketing AffiliateMarketing SecurityIssues SocialMedia LegalIssues MicroContent There is much of speculation inside the community of when and just how Twitter will getting to monetize the enormous amount of site visitors and eyeballs they've put together with their revolutionary and now famous micro-blogging platform.
At this time,Office 2010 Professional, Twitter announced on this blog page posting, that they may currently being testing a new marketing program that they're calling “Promoted Tweets”.
So what are promoted tweets?
“Promoted Tweets are ordinary Tweets that businesses and organizations want to highlight to a wider group of users.”
Initially they're going to be working with a hand selected group of advertisers (Best Buy, Bravo,Microsoft Office 2010 Professional, Red Bull,Office 2010 Key, Sony Pictures, Starbucks,Microsoft Office 2010 Professional, and Virgin America) and promoted tweets will be priced on a cost-per-impression basis. Once they get a better understanding of how the twitter community interacts with these ads,Windows 7 Professional, they may consider other pricing models. I would think that cost-per-click won’t be too far behind.
Initially ads will start appearing at the top of search results pages from searches done at twitter.com. The company says promoted tweets that don’t “resonate” with users won’t display anymore, indicating advertisers won’t be able to just buy any search term if the tweet they're promoting isn’t relevant to what the twitter community is searching for.
Here are some other important highlights: Only one promoted tweet will show per search result initially.
Promoted tweets will clearly be labeled as such. In the future, the company plans on extending promoted tweets beyond the twitter search box. Users can expect to see promoting expand into their timelines and through partner applications inside the future.
I suspect Twitter will attempt to carefully walk the fine line between making money on advertising and keeping the best user experience. I am sure they will be looking very closely at how Google has walked this line and act accordingly.
Other companies looking to make a buck off Twitter Advertising: TweetUp.com – Promoting tweets auction style through twitter partner sites. From the same folks that invented PPC search marketing.
SponsoredTweets.com – Paying to have your message posted by top Twitterers.
BeTweeted.com – Pay per click to have people tweet about your products.
MyLikes.com – Pay per click to have people tweet and blog page about your products.
