How does one give people, who are hardly able to handle a computer,
Office 2007 Keygen, access to educational and know-how content, which is not only of high quality but also customised? The Acknowledge project, Accessible & Open Knowledge Infrastructure for Flanders, lets Flanders become acquainted with a demonstration model.
Lifelong learning is an important cornerstone for innovative policies. Implementing lifelong learning policies effectively,
Office 2010 Serial, means finding ways to enable people to combine activities in ways that suit them both practically and personally. Therefore citizens, companies, educational institutions, knowledge organisations and governments have a great need for a faster, simpler and cheaper access to an open and accessible knowledge infrastructure.
The Acknowledge project aims to provide Flanders with a proof of concept demonstrator for an easy and accessible service in the field of learning and content management. This way, even people with low to no ICT skills will have access to high quality personalized learning and knowledge content.
Acknowledge will bring together the methodology, tools and infrastructure for the development and dissemination of accessible and exchangeable content in an open, standards-based, service-oriented architecture. The main priority domains of Acknowledge are:
Context management: enabling a high degree of relevance in terms of user profile,
Office Standard 2010 Key, situation, level, etc... in order to lead to personalized learning trajectories. Automated content description, (de)construction and integration: stimulating the development and reusability of content and contributing to the development of sustainable business models for a Flemish learning and knowledge economy. Accessible user experience: providing a user-friendly and needs-oriented user experience.
Acknowledge wants to give the initial impetus to a networked knowledge infrastructure in Flanders, that must succeed in integrating the existing, often topical,
Office 2010 Standard, and sometimes too fragmented research in this domain and embedding it into a comprehensive service platform.
Because the architecture of the Acknowledge service platform relies on open standards, for the content as well as the programming interfaces and no dependencies on specific open source or commercial software are created, lock-in is avoided and the results can be supported in a sustainable way that fits in the international context.
The task of the service platform is to facilitate the development of learning and knowledge content. Regarding the content, the platform uses the RIAD principle:
Reusable, Interoperable, Accessible,
Office 2007 Professional Plus, Durable.
The RIAD principle ensures the scope and sustainability of the Acknowledge project.
Key Aspects of the Acknowledge project
User Experience: research on aspects of blended learning, target group deter-mination and community needs regarding social software tools; Repository: standards-based digital repositories as the core architecture for capturing knowledge content; Information Retrieval: besides structured content, Acknowledge will also capture non- or semi-structured content using intelligent information retrieval techniques.
