You may be contacted 8 months after you submit a resume if you're a school candidate: Many recruiters deal with a tremendous amount of candidates (I just hit 5000 resumes yesterday - party!) I know that I'm way behind, and that even though there are positions open, we as a team may not be through the entire batch. I’m just now getting through people that utilized to career fairs 2 months in the past, and my next step is to go into the software system and look there.

I have hired school candidates when I had their applications for months and months before I discovered them for the first time. But don’t hold your breath. Office 2010 Key Sale, be smart about it: If you are reaching out to a recruiter, please let them know who you are, when you applied and what you utilized for. Also, ALWAYS INCLUDE YOUR RESUME. The first question I will ask of someone is to “can you resend your resume?” That way we can look it up, or get you set up really fast.
