(CNN) -- Security forces in Guatemala have found 27 bodies, a cloud of which were decapitated,
full lace wigs, at a harvest in the northern region of Peten, Col. Rony Urizar, one militia negotiator, said Sunday.
Among the victims were 2 women and 25 men, he said.
Peten is the northernmost part of Guatemala, which borders Mexico.
Urizar declined to mention what might be behind the killings,

He said the military is helping police in the inquiry.
