The Yale ISP is an interdisciplinary middle that studies the implications for the Net and new specifics technologies for law and society.
The Yale ISP delivers books, scholarship,
Office 2010 Serial, and policy briefings; it regularly holds symposia, weekly occasions,
Office Professional 2010 Serial, reading through groups, and seminars at Yale Law College and in worldwide venues. It administers the Knight Law and Media Program at Yale Law School. The knowledge Society Challenge also hosts resident and traveling to fellowships for recent graduates of law and doctoral programs keen on careers in teaching and public policy.
The Executive Director oversees all aspects of the Yale ISP’s exploration plans and works closely with ISP Director Professor Jack Balkin.
Specific responsibilities from the Executive Director include: Administering the ISP’s research programs
Working with J.D. students and postdoctoral fellows
Teaching or co-teaching an Access to Knowledge course at Yale Law College
Maintaining a distinguished personal program of study
Managing the administrative staff in the ISP
Overseeing public relations (web site, social media, press releases)
Speaking in high-profile venues on behalf from the Yale ISP
Organizing special occasions and symposia at Yale Law College and abroad
Developing the annual budget
Performing financial forecasting and monthly expenditure oversight
Fundraising for your ISP and managing relationships with funders
Overseeing a scholarly publication strategy for the ISP. The Executive Director is expected to be in residence in the New Haven vicinity, and begin the appointment on or before July 25,
Microsoft Office 2010 Sale, 2011. The Executive Director will receive a salary (commensurate with experience) plus Yale University benefits. Candidates must be a graduate of a law college or a Ph.D system with a distinguished academic record,
Office Home And Business 2010, administrative and organizational expertise, and a record of scholarship, policy briefs, or other publications in places related to the Yale ISP’s work.

(one) A cover letter describing qualifications and including a statement for the applicant’s scholarly or policy study area;
(2) A curriculum vitae;
(3) A law college or doctoral transcript;
(4) At least a single sample of modern scholarly writing;
(5) Two letters of recommendation.
