Alot more power….. er…… space.I'd like the 32gb with 3G, but I think I'll start with the 16gb and see how it all works, what shakes up for the next version and 3g4gwhatever-g is coming. I'm sure a family member won't mind the hand-me-down iPad if and when I upgrade.I'm guessing there will be a good deal of streaming capabilities coming on the iPad (both Apple and 3rd-party) …I think we'll see that extra space isn't as necessary as it has been in the past.Ordering $499 job for starters – will pass down to kids than to grandkids ….. we will next get the 3g when readily available … Our company will wait for the 3g but we are buying 4 for presentation purposes …. when you sell products that cost tens of thousands of dollars you need every advantage you'll be able to have and at $800 or so each for company ones it is a drop in the bucket as significantly as expenses and our customers will get a "wow factor" when they view our work in photos and video …..Yup, same here – $499 to try it out, and then hand it down to an increasing list of friends which I didn't know I had and who are all waiting for me to buy the next iteration…64 GB because … it seemed that was what they used at the announcement event.Done … pre-ordered 64 GB + case + dock + VGA adapter + power cord + wireless keyboard.Nice, Congrats!!!My new super low energy green solution: iPad for everyday email, browsing,
Windows 7 Enterprise, etc (10 watts?) to Mac mini for heavier work … math sims (15 watts?) sync everything through Mobile Me and maybe use a VNCscreen sharing app to run cases remotely on the Mac mini!It seems to be only for the US but when it becomes offered for Australia I will go and throw down my cash for the 64GB WiFi iPad, mind you being that I am in Australia it will probably be in excess of $1000.you bet, i will also throw down my pants if my cash ain't enough to purchase the iPad. I wish they would have 512GB by now. How can i store thousands of videos and music. Ain't enough!!I think it relates to availability of that static memory … I would have gone for a 128 GB iPad but I suspect 64 GB was economic knee about the curve. They have to balance a whole lot of things … could Apple get enough memory for what their estimated sales, etc. … maybe next year the 128 GB version plus the camera? Apple is going to throw their weight close to in the pad or tablet category. I only have one question … how will this affect the MacBook Air sales??WiFi 16 GB $499 ordered. …I view this model being a good v1 Starter. And, I’m looking forward to having in hand on April 3.I ordered mine. 64 GB. Can't wait 'til the 3rd!Awesome i will get the best oneFantastic im so excited cant wait to possess oneI need one urgently for my portfolio ….the selling prices are okiPad Apple accepting iPad pre-orders at 5:30 am PT on FridayBy Jim DalrympleMarch 11, 2010, 3:29 pm PT Tweet If you’ve been following iPad news since it was introduced, tomorrow will be a big day.
