Admt For Server2008 Antivirus For Windows Server2008 R2 Server2008: How To Refresh Hkcu? User32.Dll? Backup Server2008 Waiting, Depends Monitoring Proccess With Email-Alert, Server2008 Cannot Ping From Server2008 To Virtual Server Server2003. Server2008'S Hyper-V Is Great! But How Do I Read/Write Towards the Host'S Drives? Admt For Server2008 Did not find much on ADMT for 2008. I need to migrate AD from a Server2003 Ent enviroment to a Server2008 64bt enviroment. Note: Also running Exchange2003 on same box! Can I use ADMT 3.0 to move AD and what should I be aware of before hand? Antivirus For Windows Server2008 R2 Hi I would like to get some experience in server administration, so I
installed Windows Server2008 R2 but was sorry to find out that
"normal" security programs (like Kaspersky Internet Security) do not
support server operating systems... For now, I switched back to Windows 7,Microsoft Office 2010 Key, but I would really like to use
2008 R2... I heard that the firewall in R2 is quite good, so the only thing I
need can be a antivirus software that can be installed on R2... I contacted the local distributor for NOD32, and they told me that one
license for NOD32 Antivirus for Windows File Server costs 190 USD.
This is quite expensive and I was hoping to find a cheaper solution.. Can anyone help me with this?? Server2008: How To Refresh Hkcu? User32.Dll? Hello there, Does anyone know how to refresh the HKCU settings in Server 2008 while the user is logged on? In prior versions, we could run the command: "%windir%System32RUNDLL32.EXE user32.dll,UpdatePerUserSystemParameters" That would update any changes made to the HKCU registry key for that user,Office 2010 Pro Plus, for example, the desktop background image could be changed within the registry,Office 2010 Serial, and that that command run to enable the change without logging off and on. It doesn't look like it works in 2008...at least it didn't for me. Any ideas? Thanks!
Steve Backup Server2008 Waiting, Depends we have a problem with the Windows Server Backup on SBS-2008. After the scheduled backup-time the GUI reports when opening 'data will be loaded ... " and remains in this state.
wbadmin get status reports nothing and waiting too.
wbadmin without arguments - the same ... After a server-restart 'wbadmin get status' reports then that is not a backup, however, suggest manual backup via the GUI or cmd fail because another backup would run. The shadow copies work normal (on all drives). The server is relatively new in operation, the first backups were successful.
What has already been done:
- Backup settings completely erased, added new blank backup hard drive (USB)
- Feature uninstalled and reinstalled, suggests one could even re-configure the backup.
- Virus scanner off What can i do? viele gr~A 1/4 ~A"Ye jens Monitoring Proccess With Email-Alert, Server2008 Hi I search a standard solution inside of Server 2008, thats monitoring an log Windows-Procces with Email-Alert. Thank you for your support.
Andrea Cannot Ping From Server2008 To Virtual Server Server2003. I have a Virtual Server running Server 2003 at a remote location having a persistant VPN between the 2 sites. And I have a Windows2008 server and an SBS server at the home office. I am able to ping the virtual server from the sbs box, but not the 2008 box. If I ping the 2008 box from the virtual server, that works fine, then for about a minute I can ping the virtual server from the 2008 server, then it quits after a minute or so. Wherever can I look to diagnose this?
There are no errors while in the VPN/Routers on either side. No local firewalls are running.
Help? Thank You Allen Server2008'S Hyper-V Is Great! But How Do I Read/Write For the Host'S Drives? Hi guys! At the university, I was issued some statistical software that will
run only in Windows 2000 and XP. This WAS a problem, since I have
Server2008 installed on my work station. The software installed in a
Hyper-V virtual machine by using the media/DVD/Capture pulldowns. The
Hyper-V virtual machine is using XP/SP3! :) Now, I need to browse over 70 gigs of text data zipped for analysis. It
will expand to almost 800 gigs of text data. I see how I can get it inside virtual c:and d:drive(s) using my
browser and FTP from the original publisher, and how to get it via the
DVD drive. But this data is already on an HDD on my work station outside of my
virtual machine. How can I access files on my PC outside of my virtual PC? Thank you, Mindy
