Can information be denied based mostly on payment addressee
This can be a discussion on Can details be denied primarily based on payment addressee inside of the Consult for RTI Query discussion boards, aspect of your RTI Community group; Can data be denied,Office 2010 Professional Plus, when the IPO (Indian Postal Purchase) is in favor of General public Details Officer(Public Data Officer) and never in favor of "Pay and Accounts Off.". Opening Up Achievements:
Can information be denied,Microsoft Office Professional 2007, when the IPO (Indian Postal Buy) is in favor of General public Info Officer(Public Information Officer) and not in favor of "Pay and Accounts Off.". My mother had applied through RTI for getting data on pension details to the AG Office,Office 2010 Professional, Tiruvananthapuram,Office 2007 Enterprise, Kerala. They denied information saying the IPO was given to General public Details Officer and never "Pay and Acc. Off". This also took the stipulated 1 month time given to them.
Although we got the info, centered on a subsequent RTI application with the IPO now in favor of "Pay & Acc. Off",Windows 7 Professional, I wanted to know if this can be a valid excuse on their portion to deny the information, and if not can I challenge this decision of theirs with the State Info Commission/CIC.

Thanks
Antony
