A big writing assignment can be a stressful thing. Where do you start? How do you organize? How do you know if <gasp> what you wrote was any good? Brainstorming, outlining, drafting and revising are all elements of a successful paper. We created a OneNote notebook called “The Writing Process” to help students with each of these skills. The pages in the notebook walk you through each step in the writing process, and provide links to outside resources and examples where appropriate. You can work through the notebook in a linear fashion, or you can skip to the section you’re having the most trouble with. Most of the time, I think you’ll find a helpful hint or resource to get you started (or get you back on track). You can add new sections to the Writing Process notebook to capture the writing you’ve done. Just click on the small tab next to the main Writing Process tab and create a new section or sections. Once you’ve gotten to the point where you’re ready to share your work, OneNote makes the process simple. Try it out yourself: Download The Writing Process notebook and watch a how-to video. What’s your writing process? Leave a comment and let us know,
