As numerous of you know, among the missions of my group here at Microsoft is to obtain and entice what we get in touch with “passive candidates” … which is, people today who have not applied to Microsoft or, for that make any difference,
Office Enterprise 2007, have never expressed interest in looking for a new job at all. It’s all that behind the scenes detective work you never see. My teammates and I are looking at how best to approach the passive candidate community while still maintaining a high-level of customer service (black hole be damned!), and since you all always provide me with such candid feedback, I developed a little (entirely anonymous) survey to gather your thoughts. If you are interested in helping provide feedback on this model before it is fully realized, click here to answer several questions. We’d love to hear from everyone … active candidates, passive candidates, confused candidates … even current Microsoft employees. I hear plenty of funny recruiter cold-call stories from MS employees … that is for sure. Thanks as always!
gretchen P.S. I signed up for a trial membership of zoomerang so only the first 100 respondents can record answers. If a see a considerable amount of interest in surveys like this, I'll look into signing up for a more permanent solution. P.P.S. Remember ... check out the survey! Leaving comments here is fine, but I have specific questions in the survey.
