Go For Your Own Wedding Dress

There is nothing wrong for a girl to dress themselves like princesses or mermaids in their wedding ceremonies. However, the cruel fact is that to hold a wedding ceremony is vey costly and you will find that the wedding dresses are priced very high. In this case, most of people are finding every possible way to get the discount wedding dress. Recently,bridal hair accessories, I find some articles giving advices to the brides on how to get the lower-priced wedding dress and one of the ways is to wear one that was worn by one's mother or even grandmother.
I am astonished on seeing this news that I will show my strong objection to this way. I have to remind you that it is their special day and you should wear your own dress to feel unique. The following is my reasons on why a bride shouldn't wear her mother's wedding dress.
First of all, it's not in style anymore. You can imagine that your mom probably got married at least in the 70's or 80's? The styling of wedding dress at that time either has longs sleeves and a high neckline or puffy sleeves and lots of lace. It may be cool to some but I consider it to be a fashion disaster. On the other hand,disney wedding dresses, I consider it to be unlucky as in my generation lots of divorces happened. Now I'm not saying this is the case for everyone but I come from divorced parents and I feel the dress would be cursed. Aside from the superstitious opinion, the wedding dress may not go well with you. Maybe your mom was at her skinniest or maybe she was not. Either way your body type is probably different than hers. The dress that you need is the one that will flatter your body type.
Ever since I was a little girl I have been dreaming of my dream dress. It should definitely not be the one my mom wore on her special day. I am not meaning that the dress that my mom wore is not beautiful but that was her dream dress. On the other hand, every woman deserves their day to stand out. No one will blame you that you are thinking of stand out and be unique on your wedding day. Your relatives and your family members have already respected your mother's beauty in that wedding dress and there is no need for you to repeat. It is your day to shine!
All in all, wedding dresses ceremony is just one time for every one. Even if it is a little bit expensive, you should not save the money to sacrifice your beauty on that special day. I don't think any one of you would like to hear the negative comments to your inferior wedding dress.
