Default Office 2010 Activation Spelling in Word The dicti

Chris Bryant brought up a spelling issue over on his Cleanup on Aisle 7 blog--namely that Word might flag a word and then provide the wrong answer. Actually, Word provides a list of answers,Office 2010 Activation, but then you have to pick the right one.

And sometimes, the word isn't wrong in the first place,Office 2010 Product Key, but it might not be in the dictionary that Word is using.

Just like the universe, the dictionary is expanding--and you can expand your Word dictionary to fit your world.

That's especially helpful for names. If you know a name--for example,Windows 7 Activation, your own, or the name of someone who has catapulted to the world spotlight since your version of Word was released. You might not want Word underlining that name with the red squiggly every time you type it.

Right-click the word that you know is spelled correctly,Office 2007 Enterprise, and then click Add to Dictionary.

Now,Office 2007 Professional, when you type that name, Word will recognize that it's correct (unless you mistype it, and then Word will flag the mistake for you).

You can find more spelling and AutoCorrect tips from Chris and from the Crabby Office Lady, and you can learn how Word can correct spelling when you're writing in another language.
