The Chanel show was a beautifully structured accumulation in shades of gray, black, and pearly.  I’m not always a huge Karl Lagerfeld flare, but this particular blending of classic Chanel styling (sportswear, suiting, etc) and bravery silhouettes beat,0 me fair right.
  
The shoes were variations on this an (and at variations, I mean differing shades of grey, black, and white to mate the outfits):
 Classic, elegant, with a slightly quirky heel.  Not the maximum fantabulous, yet fine.
Fantabulousness was brought full on by the Christian Lacroix show, where the maestro (or maybe I should say maître) attempted up a wild riot of cloth and color and pattern that includes a whole bunch of dresses and shoes that look favor they’ve all over of a Velazquez painting.
  
The shoes definitely belong on royal feet.  Dare I say they remind me of some of our formerly posted Friday Shoe History Corner shapes?  I do.  I do challenge.  Plus,cheap ######## birkin bags, the series of peerless tights was amusement to see.  I’m coveting this red and white pair of special note.
