Shoes » History Of Basketball Shoes
There are four general periods of history of basketball shoes that have been known widely in the world. They are divided into four parts called “ERA’s”. These overlapping time periods will help us get a more organized look at how far we’ve home. Perhaps, it may also aid us in understanding where we are going. The first 安福家* period spans from the year of 1920 to 1984, named Classic Era. The classic era was a stretch of time few of us today can even remember. Starting with the Chucks and concluding with the AF1, the time period is named “classic” for obvious reasons. The original Chuck Taylor dominated the basketball scene for over 40 years. The canvas sneaker with rubber soles is the all-time best selling sneaker at over 500 million pairs sold and counting. It wasn’t until leather debuted on basketball sneakers in the 60′s did the canvas Chucks began its decline. In 1983, Air Force 1 debts as the first Nike basketball shoes(NBA Shoes) with an air sole. The air technology differentiated 莆田安福 Nike from rest of the competition and propelled the company to become the industry’s leader a position which Nike has never relinquished to this day. The second period is called Jordan Era, which 莆田外贸之家 is from 1985 to 1993. One man dominated the Era that gave sneakers the kind of popularity we see today. Let’s face it, without Michael Jordan’s influence on the game, we wouldn’t be here today. The Icon is the sole reason why all of this is even possible. So to name the Era after the Greatest of All Time is fittingly appropriate and the least we could do. The third period is from 1994 to 1998. Mike’s 1st retirement sent the industry reeling. Will basketball shoes continue to sell without its main cornerstone? Nike realized Reviews of Reebok Pump Omni Lite Star – Shop Reebok Pump Omni Lite ... it needed to find alternative methods other than relying on just one man. Barkley, Pippen, Admiral, Reggie and Penny all stepped up to the plate for the company. Reebok found their main man in Iverson. The Golden Era was a period of time where no one model line or person would dominate the entire industry. Yet due to new technologies, materials and design concepts, near everything manufacturers produced during this Era became golden and instant classics. NBA Shoes
