basic disk management
This section describes the command can be used to create and delete partitions, and assign a drive letter and mount point command. The commands in this section applies only to basic disks. Applicable to dynamic disk commands, and can be used to convert a basic disk to dynamic disk commands, refer to the following sections.
in all MBR disks, size or offset parameters have been rounded to keep the cylinder alignment. In the GPT disk, size and offset parameters have been rounded to maintain sector alignment. If the offset parameter is not specified, then the partition is large enough on the first unoccupied contiguous disk range. If the size parameter is not listed, then the partition can be extended to take the disk to determine the scope of up to occupy the entire disk size.
new disk was first discovered, he incurs assumed to MBR disks. In the attempt to create a GPT partition, you must explicitly convert a disk to GPT. MSR recommends that you create for each data partition on the disk first, and any system or boot disk on the second partition (after the ESP). After converting to GPT from MBR, MSR partition is automatically created on the disk.
create any new partition, a newly created partition will be partition focus. Delete any partition, the partition focus is lost. In any case, the disk focus remains constant.
active
use the active command is the focus of the current partition is set to This setting informs the firmware for this partition is a valid system partition. Diskpart does not validate the partition contents.
Note: If you use this command, you may not restart the computer.
assign [[letter = l] / [mount = path]] [noerr]
use the assign command to the current in-focus partition drive letter or mount point. If you do not specify a drive letter is assigned the next available drive letter. If this drive letter or mount point is already in use, unless the use of noerr parameter, or will cause an error.
You can use this command to change the removable drive with the associated drive letter.
against the system, boot, or paging volumes assigned a drive letter. In addition to Msdata partition, the command can not be used to the OEM partition or any GPT partition drive letter.
create partition primary [size = n] [offset = n] [id = byte / guid] [noerr]
use the create partition primary command on the current drive to a certain length size and starting address offset Create a primary partition.
If the MBR disk ID bytes is not specified, this command will use the type Can use the ID parameter to specify the partition type. Does not check ID byte or other checksum validity.
If you do not specify the GPT disk ID GUID, this command will create Msdata partition. Can use the ID parameter to specify any GUID. Not GUID for validity, reproducibility, or other verification. Sample GUID partition will be automatically generated.
as creating a MBR and GPT partition, so Windows does not automatically assign a drive letter. You must explicitly assign a drive letter.
create partition extended [size = n] [offset = n] [noerr]
use the create partition extended command to the current drive to a certain length size and starting address offset to create an extended partition. MBR disk drive must be.
create a partition, the new extended partition will be the focus. Can only create an extended partition. Can only create an extended partition to create logical drives.
create partition logical [size = n] [offset = n] [noerr]
use the create partition logical command existing in the current disk to a certain length of the extended partition size and starting address offset to create a logical drives. MBR disk drive must be.
If the offset is not listed,
doudoune hommes, then the logical drive will be placed first in the extended partition big enough unoccupied contiguous disk extent. If size is not listed, the partition may be extended to occupy the entire extended partition.
create a partition, logical drive partition will be the focus.
create partition msr [size = n] [offset = n] [noerr]
create partition msr command is equivalent to using MSR GUID E3C9E316-0B5C-4DB8-817D-F92DF00215AE create a partition.
create partition esp [size = n] [offset = n] [noerr]
create partition esp command is equivalent to using ESP GUID C12A7328-F81F-11D2-BA4B-00A0C93EC93B create a partition.
delete partition [noerr] [override]
use the delete partition command to delete the current in-focus partition.
Diskpart blocks the deletion current system, boot, or paging volumes. To remove the ESP, MSR, or known OEM partition, you must specify the override parameter.
extend [size = n] [noerr]
use the extend command to cause the current in-focus volume extended to the continuous space is not allocated. Unallocated space must be in focus after the partition (the former sector offset must be greater than the latter). This command is used to increase the existing basic data partition can be extended to hardware RAID Logical Unit Number (LUN) on the newly created space.
If you've used NTFS file system partition is formatted, the file system is automatically extended to occupy the larger partition, and data loss will occur. If you've used anything other than NTFS file system format to format the partition, this command will fail and will not change the partition.
Diskpart only prohibits the current system or boot partition be extended.
remove [[letter = l] / [mount = path] / [all]] [noerr]
use the remove command to delete the current in-focus partition drive letter or mount point. If you specify all parameters, then remove all current drive letters and mount points. If you do not specify a drive letter or mount point, then remove the drive letter.
use this command to change the removable drive with the associated drive letter.
prohibited delete the system, boot, or paging volume drive letter. Can not use this command to transfer to the OEM drive letter partition with an unrecognized GUID, any GPT partition or any GPT partition of special non-data (such as the ESP partition.)
dynamic disk management commands
you can use the commands described in this section to create and delete volumes, repair, fault-tolerant volumes, and import the disk.
size parameter should always be rounded to keep the MB alignment. Can not specify an explicit offset. This volume is always large enough on the first unoccupied contiguous disk range. If size is not listed, then create the largest possible volume.
create the volume, the volume focus will be placed in newly created volume. If the volume across multiple disks, the current disk focus is lost. If you delete the volume, the volume focus will be lost. If you delete the volume before the existence of a valid disk focus will remain the focus of this disk.
Note: When any empty disk to a dynamic or GPT disk, Diskpart in the converted disk to create an MSR partition mandatory.
active
use the active command is the focus of the current volume is set to This setting informs the firmware for this partition is a valid system partition. Diskpart can only verify that the volume contains a bootable operating system image, rather than verify that the partition contents. If you use this command, the computer may not restart.
add disk = n [noerr]
use the add command on the disk to the specified volume is currently in the focus add a mirror. Cong supports only two mirrors. Current in-focus volume must be a simple volume.
assign [[letter = l] / [mount = path]] [noerr]
use the assign command to assign the current in-focus volume drive letter or mount point. If you do not specify a drive letter is assigned the next available drive letter. If this drive letter or mount point is already in use, unless specified noerr parameter, otherwise it will generate an error.
against the system, boot,
doudoune femme moncler, or paging volumes assigned a drive letter.
break disk = n [nokeep] [noerr]
use the break command to break the current in-focus image.
default, the contents of the two images will be retained cluster, because the two bundles have become simple volumes. If you specify nokeep parameters, leaving only the specified cluster and another cluster will be removed and converted to free space.
keep all the original volume drive letter or mount point. If the bundle is not retained, the focus remain on the specified disk to keep a simple volume. Otherwise, the focus will change to the specified cluster disk specified on the reservation. This cluster becomes a simple volume; However, the new volume is not assigned a drive letter.
create volume simple [size = n] [disk = n] [noerr]
use the create volume simple command to specify the size of the disk to a certain length to create a simple volume.
If you do not specify a size,
doudoune homme, the new volume can take up disk free space on the remaining continuous. If no disk is specified, the current in-focus disk.
create a volume, the disk focus to be set to the target disk.
create volume stripe [size = n] disk = n [, n [,...]][ noerr]
use the create volume stripe command creates the specified disk stripe set volumes. The total size of the striped volume for each disk size and disk striped volume multiplied by the number of (*) of the product.
If you do not specify a size, then create a striped volume as large as possible. Continuously available free space with the smallest disk is determined. This free space determines the size of the size of a striped volume. Allocated on each disk volume size of the band are the same.
create volume raid [size = n] disk = n [, n [,...]][ noerr]
use the create volume raid command to create the specified disk Raid-5 set volume. Are allocated on each disk is equivalent to
If you do not specify a size, then create the largest possible Raid 5 volume. Continuously available free space with the smallest disk is determined. This free space determines the size of Raid 5 volume size,
doudoune moncler, and distribution from each disk Raid 5 volume size are the same. Less than the actual size of each volume on the disk Raid-5 disk volume size multiplied by the number of product, because some space for parity.
delete disk [noerr] [override]
use the delete disk command to delete from the list of the missing disk dynamic disk. If you do not specify the override parameter
will remove the disk contains all the simple volume, and delete all images Cong. If the disk for Raid 5 volume, this command will fail.
delete partition [noerr] [override]
use the delete partition command to delete the current in-focus partition.
Diskpart blocks the deletion of existing online dynamic volumes to contain any partition. However, these volumes must be removed, and the disk must be converted to a basic disk. To remove the ESP, MSR, or known OEM partition, specify the override parameter.
can delete partitions from dynamic disks, but can not create these partitions. For example, you can delete dynamic GPT GPT disk partition is not recognized. If you delete a partition, free space is not available. Can not use the clean command in an emergency, you can use this command to recover corrupted offline dynamic disk space.
delete volume [noerr]
use the delete volume command to delete the current in-focus volume. Use this command, all data will be lost.
extend disk = n [size = n] [noerr]
use the extend command to extend the current simple or extended volume to the specified disk. extend command only applies to NTFS volumes.
If you do not specify the size, specify the volume can occupy all the free space on the disk. Any existing disk focus is lost.
import [noerr]
use the import command to import the foreign disk group, all disks.
If any of the external disk group have set the focus on the disk, you can import all the disks in the group. After running this command, any existing volume or disk focus is lost.
online [noerr]
can use the online command to the disk or volume previously offline back online. If you use this command, the focus will not change.
remove [[letter = l] / [mount = path] / [all]] [noerr]
use the remove command to delete the current in-focus volume drive letter or mount point. If all parameters, will remove all current drive letters and mount points. If you do not specify a drive letter or mount point, then remove the first path encountered.
prohibited delete the system, boot, or paging volume drive letter.
retain
use the retain command to prepare for a dynamic simple volume boot or system volume.
x86-based computer if the use of retain command will create a dynamic simple volume with focus on the MBR partition. To create an MBR partition, the dynamic simple volume must start from a cylinder aligned offset and its size must be a multiple of the size of the cylinder.
If Itanium-based computers use the retain command, retain command will create a dynamic simple volume with focus on a GPT partition.
conversion disk command
convert mbr [noerr]
use the convert mbr command form of the current disk partition is set to MBR. The disk can be basic or dynamic disk, but do not contain any valid data partitions or volumes.
convert gpt [noerr]
use the convert gpt command form of the current disk partition is set to GPT. The disk can be basic or dynamic disk, but do not contain any valid data partitions or volumes. This command only on Itanium-based computers to be valid, x-86-based computer may fail.
convert dynamic [noerr]
use the convert dynamic command to a basic disk to a dynamic disk. Disk can contain valid data partitions.
convert basic [noerr]
use the convert basic command to convert an empty basic disk to dynamic disk.
s
exit
other commands use exit Diskpart command to stop and return control to the operating system.
clean [all]
use the clean command can be cleared by sector, from the current in-focus disk delete the partition or volume formatting. By default,
moncler doudoune vente, only the MBR or GPT partitioning information rewriting and any hidden sector information on MBR disks. If you specify all parameters, are cleared each sector, and can remove the drive that contains all the data.
rem [...]
rem command does not do anything, but you can use this command script file comments.
rescan
use the rescan command to rescan all I / O bus can be added to the computer so that any new disk.
