Big Bang - Little Bucks By F. Ramos MS Windows would not boot on my wife's PC, trying to recover her data. I looked for and found the lowest cost 3.5" HDD external case with no shipping charges. I looked hard and I found it. Shipping took a bit too 遵义医*院 long. However, the case works just great. The case is on the low end, just be careful in making connections. I put the sata drive in and it worked the first time, and has kept working. I do not keep on for very long, just retrieve data and turn off, so do not know how it handles heat. Very Happy with this purchase. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Pretty cheap By Danny V. Lia The item itself was cheaply made but I was expecting that. The first time I used it I slid it back a little on the table while it was transferring a file. It shut off and back on because the power cord interface is cheaply made. I could jiggle it lightly and the drive would shut off I only paid [...] bucks for it (I bought it bundled with two more 2.5" enclosures for a total of [...]) so I just super glued the power cord into the socket permanently :) Problem solved. As a technician I just wanted one of these for just-in-case situations. Poor Quality By Joel Matton I've used external drive enclosures int eh past. I bought two of these recently and wish I had listed to the other reviews. My drives keep losing power. They suddenly can't be read. I am often asked to reformat the drives. I know it isn't my hard 医*美容医院 drives. I have determined that the enclosure itself has issues on both drives I have holding power. Really annoying. The power cord fell out on its own multiple times. The USB cord connection was loose.
