Jersey arranged for historic task
THE Jersey Cricket Board take a tread into the unknown on Thursdayday when they make their competitive worldwide début against Israel in the European Cricket Council Division II Championship in Glasgow, Scotland.
Jersey also melodrama Group B matches opposition Norway and France with the altitude 2 sides progressing to the semi-finals where they will meet both Guernsey, Germany, Gibraltar alternatively Greece from Group A.
The team champions will then face the antagonistic group’s runners-up in the semis, before the last, to be held at Glasgow Accies’ ground, on Wednesday 9 August.
Team manager Dave Gorman, when asked if he thought there might be any political protests going on in Scotland,
