Corset Training - Comfort and Style!
So many people have asked me should corset training hurt and the answer is no, really no
plus size corset! Corset training is a gradual process, if your looking for a quick fix or over night answer then you couldn't be looking more in the wrong place. Waist training is done slowly over years
corset tops, its a lifestyle. You need to gently ease your body into your desired shape
corset tops, it should feel like the corset is supporting your body not wrestling with it. That said here are 5 pointers to corset training in comfort as well as style that will keep you from stopping your waist reduction from discomfort:
1 Eating Habits -
This should be considered the most important after size progression being slow and steady. While corset training you need to eat little and often. Don't eat till your full, eat till your satisfied. Also try to avoid cold drinks while eating as these numb your stomach telling your body you can eat more food.
2 underwear -
Wear something cotton under your corset
corset tops, a vest or chemise is ideal. This will not only keep you comfortable but make your corset last longer as it won't be absorbing the salt and sweat from your skin.
3 Lacing -
You need to lace up slowly in the mornings, your body has to have time to adjust between tugs. Give a little wriggle or do your makeup.hair in-between tugs - the longer it takes the more comfortable you'll feel.
4 Moisturizer -
Your skin will dry out under the pressure of a corset with no air reaching it. To avoid the discomfort of itchy skin you need to moisturize properly at least once a day.
4 Material -
Corset material is very important, a strong cotton lining will allow your skin to breathe alot more than manmade fibres. You also need to make sure your corset is for tight lacing - otherwise it will wear out quickly. When corset training your corset moulds to your body shape, replacing it often means more discomfort as the new corset is reshaped. Steel boning is very important too as plastic weakens when it is bent and will not support the body properly. For maximum comfort go with sprung steel bones or spiral steel boning.
